General Terms

Torridon Systems provides software tools for informational, organizational, training, calculation, and related purposes.

You agree to use our websites and applications only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

Torridon Systems may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features or services from time to time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature or service will remain available indefinitely.

Software and App Store Terms

Applications distributed through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play may also be subject to the terms, conditions, and license agreements of those platforms.

Where applicable, those platform terms govern your license to download and use the application. These Terms of Use & Disclaimers supplement those terms with provisions specific to Torridon Systems and its applications.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter into our applications and for determining whether application outputs are appropriate for your intended use.

Software outputs may depend on user-provided information, assumptions, configuration, historical information, algorithms, and other factors. You should use reasonable judgment when relying on any output produced by an application.

You are also responsible for maintaining appropriate copies or backups of information that is important to you. Torridon Systems does not guarantee that locally stored application data will never be lost, corrupted, or rendered inaccessible due to device failure, software failure, deletion, operating-system changes, or other circumstances.

Strength — Fitness and Health Disclaimer

Strength is a workout tracking, planning, and training-information application. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, rehabilitation services, or individualized medical advice.

Training suggestions, exercise recommendations, progression suggestions, programming information, historical analysis, estimated performance metrics, and similar outputs are provided for informational purposes only. They should not be treated as medical advice or as a substitute for the judgment of a qualified physician, physical therapist, coach, or other appropriate professional.

Strength may generate suggestions based on information recorded in the application and general training principles. Such suggestions cannot account for every factor relevant to an individual user’s health, physical condition, technique, equipment, training environment, recovery, or circumstances.

Exercise and physical training involve inherent risks, including the possibility of injury. You are responsible for determining whether an exercise, load, training program, recommendation, or activity is appropriate for you and for performing exercises safely.

Stop exercising and seek appropriate professional assistance if you experience concerning symptoms, injury, unusual pain, or other circumstances that make continued exercise potentially unsafe.

Consult an appropriately qualified healthcare or fitness professional when necessary, particularly regarding medical conditions, injuries, pain, rehabilitation, exercise restrictions, or questions about whether a particular activity is suitable for you.

Pump Tech Toolbox — Technical and Engineering Disclaimer

Pump Tech Toolbox provides calculators, conversions, worksheets, and other technical aids intended to assist with practical field work.

Calculations and other outputs are estimates based on user-supplied inputs, mathematical formulas, assumptions, units, and operating conditions. Torridon Systems does not guarantee that any calculation or output is complete, error-free, or suitable for a particular installation, system, or operating condition.

Pump Tech Toolbox is not a substitute for manufacturer documentation, equipment specifications, applicable laws or regulations, engineering standards, industry codes, site-specific procedures, safety requirements, engineering review, or professional judgment.

Outputs should be independently verified when accuracy is important and before they are used for equipment selection, system design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, or other consequential decisions.

Pump Tech Toolbox should not be relied upon as the sole basis for safety-critical, engineering-critical, or equipment-protection decisions.

Users remain responsible for verifying inputs and results and for proper equipment selection, installation, operation, maintenance, lockout/tagout practices, and other applicable safety procedures.

Use of Pump Tech Toolbox does not create an engineer-client, consultant-client, or other professional relationship between the user and Torridon Systems.

No Professional Relationship

Use of our applications or websites does not create a physician-patient, trainer-client, engineer-client, consultant-client, or other professional relationship with Torridon Systems.

Information provided through our applications should not be interpreted as professional certification, approval, or verification of a user’s activities, calculations, equipment, training program, or decisions.

Acceptable Use

You may not use our applications or websites to violate applicable law, interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of our services, attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, or use the software in a manner intended to harm Torridon Systems or others.

You may not reverse engineer, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit our proprietary software except where permitted by applicable law or an applicable software license.

Intellectual Property

The applications, websites, software, designs, branding, text, graphics, and other materials provided by Torridon Systems are owned by Torridon Systems or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited rights necessary to use the applications and websites as intended, no ownership rights are transferred to users.

Third-Party Services

Our applications or websites may rely on or interact with third-party platforms, operating systems, infrastructure providers, app stores, or other services.

Torridon Systems does not control all third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, security, accuracy, or continued operation. Your use of third-party services may also be governed by the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

Privacy

Information handled through our applications and websites is subject to the applicable Torridon Systems privacy policy.

The privacy policies for individual applications provide additional information about how those applications store, process, transmit, or otherwise handle information.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Torridon Systems provides its websites, applications, calculations, recommendations, information, and related services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Torridon Systems makes no warranty that the software or its outputs will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely accurate, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from defects.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Torridon Systems will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or relating to the use of, inability to use, or reliance on our websites, applications, calculations, recommendations, or other outputs.

This includes, where permitted by law, losses resulting from lost or corrupted data, business interruption, equipment damage, lost profits, or decisions made in reliance on application outputs.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use & Disclaimers from time to time to reflect changes to our applications, services, business practices, or legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown above. Material changes may also be communicated through the applicable application or website when appropriate.

Your continued use of the applicable services after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
