Strength Privacy Policy

Overview

Strength is a workout and training application designed to allow users to record workouts, manage training programs, review training history, and understand their progress.

Strength is designed to keep primary workout and training records on the user’s device. Strength does not currently require a Torridon Systems account or synchronize primary workout history to a Torridon Systems production cloud account.

Strength does not currently offer CloudKit, iCloud, or other production cloud synchronization for primary workout and training history.

Beta and pre-release versions of Strength may transmit limited information to Torridon Systems for testing, troubleshooting, security, and product improvement as described below.

Information Stored on Your Device

Strength may store information locally on your device, including:

• workout logs and completed sets;
• exercise history;
• training programs and program activity;
• workout templates;
• training preferences and settings;
• notes, tags, and related workout information; and
• other information you enter or generate while using the App.

This information is used to provide Strength’s workout logging, programming, history, progress, and related functionality.

Primary workout and training records are not routinely transmitted to Torridon Systems merely because you record a workout in Strength.

Locally stored information may also be affected by device-level backup, restoration, migration, or other features provided by Apple or the operating system.

Beta and Pre-Release Data

If you participate in a beta, TestFlight, or other pre-release version of Strength, the App may transmit information to Torridon Systems to help us evaluate and improve the App.

Depending on the beta version, this information may include:

• information about workout activity and feature usage;
• program and workout-template usage;
• information about exercises presented or performed;
• exercise substitutions and related training interactions;
• progression and recommendation interactions;
• diagnostic or error information;
• app or beta installation identifiers used to distinguish reporting installations; and
• other limited technical or activity information used to understand whether beta features are functioning as intended.

Beta reporting is used for product testing, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, security, reliability, and development. It is not used for behavioral advertising, cross-context behavioral tracking, or to sell information about users.

Beta reporting may contain information relating to your training activity. You should therefore avoid including unnecessary sensitive or personally identifying information in free-form workout notes or similar fields.

Crash and Platform Diagnostics

Apple may make crash reports, diagnostic information, or app analytics available to developers depending on your device settings and your choices regarding sharing analytics with Apple and app developers.

Information provided through Apple’s services is also subject to Apple’s applicable privacy practices.

How We Use Information

Torridon Systems may use information it receives through Strength to:

• operate and support the App;
• conduct beta and pre-release testing;
• understand how features are being used;
• identify and investigate bugs or unexpected behavior;
• improve app functionality, performance, and usability;
• maintain the security and reliability of the App and supporting infrastructure; and
• respond to support or privacy requests.

We do not use Strength training information for third-party behavioral advertising.

Advertising, Tracking, and Sale of Personal Information

Strength does not currently include third-party behavioral advertising or advertising-tracking functionality.

Torridon Systems does not sell personal information collected through Strength.

Torridon Systems does not use information collected through Strength to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.

Service Providers

Torridon Systems may use service providers to operate infrastructure supporting Strength.

For beta reporting, Torridon Systems uses Cloudflare services to provide infrastructure that may receive, transmit, protect, or store beta reporting information.

Service providers may process information only in connection with providing services to Torridon Systems and are expected to protect information consistent with applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Information processed by service providers may be handled in the United States or other locations in which those providers operate.

Data Retention

Information stored locally by Strength generally remains on your device until you modify or delete it, remove the App, or it is otherwise affected by device-level backup, restoration, or operating-system behavior.

Beta reporting, diagnostic, and support information received by Torridon Systems may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to conduct testing, analyze product performance, investigate problems, maintain security and reliability, and support development. Information may subsequently be deleted or retained in aggregated or de-identified form where appropriate.

Security

Torridon Systems uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information being handled.

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can manage locally stored information using the editing and deletion controls available within Strength.

You may also remove locally stored application information by uninstalling Strength, subject to device-level backup, restoration, and recovery behavior.

Where Strength requests access to device features or information protected by system permissions, you can manage those permissions through the applicable settings provided by your device.

Beta participants may contact Torridon Systems regarding information submitted through Torridon-operated beta reporting systems.

Access and Deletion Requests

If information exists only on your device, Torridon Systems generally does not possess or have access to that information and therefore cannot retrieve or delete it on your behalf.

If Torridon Systems maintains information associated with a beta, support request, or other direct interaction, you may contact us to request access to or deletion of that information where reasonably identifiable and where required or permitted by applicable law.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide additional rights regarding personal information maintained about you. Requests may be submitted using the contact information below.

We may need information sufficient to identify the relevant records before completing a request.

Children’s Privacy

Strength is not directed to children under 13, and Torridon Systems does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

Future Features

Future versions of Strength may introduce features such as cloud synchronization, additional platform integrations, or other services that change how information is handled.

Torridon Systems will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate before or when material changes to those data practices are introduced.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Strength, our operations, legal requirements, or our privacy practices.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or other appropriate means.
