Pump Tech Toolbox Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Pump Tech Toolbox provides pump-related calculations, field utilities, technician worksheets, and reporting tools.

The App is designed to minimize collection of personal information. No user account is required to use the App. Calculator inputs and technician worksheet data are generally processed and stored locally on the user’s device.

The App may transmit information when a user intentionally uses a feature that requires transmission, such as submitting feedback.

2. Information Processed on Your Device

Pump Tech Toolbox may process information that you enter into the App, including:

• calculator inputs and calculation results;
• units, values, and other information used with field utilities;
• technician worksheet information; and
• information included in reports created using the App.

This information is generally processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to Torridon Systems solely because you use the App’s calculators or local worksheet features.

3. Feedback Information

If you choose to submit feedback through the App, Pump Tech Toolbox may transmit:

• the feedback or comments you provide; and
• your email address, if you choose to provide one.

Providing an email address with feedback is optional.

Feedback information may be used to evaluate reported issues, respond to users when appropriate, improve Pump Tech Toolbox, prioritize product development, and troubleshoot problems.

Do not include confidential, sensitive, or personally identifiable information in a feedback submission unless it is necessary for us to understand your request.

4. Reports and Information You Choose to Share

Pump Tech Toolbox may allow you to create, export, or share technician worksheets, reports, or other files.

Unless you choose to export or share information, technician worksheets, reports, and similar App data remain local to your device.

When you choose to export or share information, that information may leave the App and be handled by the application, service, device feature, recipient, or storage location you select.

Torridon Systems does not control how third parties or recipients handle information that you independently choose to export or share.

5. Accounts and Cloud Storage

Pump Tech Toolbox does not currently require users to create an account.

Calculator, technician worksheet, and report information is not currently designed to be automatically synchronized to a Torridon Systems cloud account.

Pump Tech Toolbox does not currently provide production cloud storage for calculator inputs, worksheet data, or report data.

If Pump Tech Toolbox later introduces accounts, cloud synchronization, or other features that materially change how user information is collected or stored, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

6. Advertising, Tracking, and Sale of Personal Information

Pump Tech Toolbox does not currently use user information for third-party behavioral advertising.

Torridon Systems does not sell personal information collected through Pump Tech Toolbox.

The App is not designed to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.

7. How We Use Information

To the extent Torridon Systems receives information through Pump Tech Toolbox, we may use it to:

• provide and maintain the App;
• operate features requested by the user;
• receive and evaluate user feedback;
• diagnose technical problems;
• improve functionality, reliability, usability, and calculations;
• respond to user inquiries; and
• protect the security and integrity of the App and related systems.

We may also use information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or protect our legal rights.

8. Service Providers and Disclosure

Torridon Systems may use service providers to operate infrastructure or functionality associated with Pump Tech Toolbox, including services used to receive or store information submitted through the App.

These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Torridon Systems, our users, or others.

We do not sell personal information submitted through the App to third parties.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored locally by Pump Tech Toolbox generally remains on the user’s device until it is edited or deleted by the user, removed through functionality provided by the App, or removed when the App or its associated data is deleted, subject to the behavior of the user’s operating system, device backups, and other services controlled by the user.

Information submitted directly to Torridon Systems, such as feedback and an optional contact email address, may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to address the submission, improve the App, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights.

Users may contact Torridon Systems using the contact information below regarding personal information they have submitted directly to us.

10. Security

Torridon Systems uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of Pump Tech Toolbox and the information it processes.

However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for appropriately protecting information they choose to store on their devices or include in exported reports.

11. Children’s Privacy

Pump Tech Toolbox is intended for professional and general utility use and is not directed to children under 13.

Torridon Systems does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Pump Tech Toolbox. If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected inappropriately, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. Third-Party Services

Certain operating-system features or services selected by the user, such as sharing, email, printing, file storage, or other applications used to receive an exported report, may be provided by third parties.

Information handled by those services is subject to the applicable third party’s terms and privacy practices.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Torridon Systems may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Pump Tech Toolbox, our data practices, applicable law, or operational requirements.

When the policy is updated, the revised version will be posted with an updated “Last updated” date.

Material changes to the App’s privacy practices will be reflected in this policy as appropriate before or when the relevant changes are introduced.
